21 April 2021 | High-Level Conference on Food Supplements

On 21 April 2021, the Economic and Food Safety Authority (ASAE) organized the High Level Conference on Food Supplements. This conference discussed the current situation of food supplements in the context of the Single Market, seeking solutions that ensure greater safety for consumers and fair competition between operators. This event was attended by the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA), the European Commission, and several representatives of this sector.

28 April 2021 | International Conference on Clusters: towards a green and collaborative European recovery: challenges for clusters

The Conference “Travel Guide to a Competitive Economy”, on 28 April, organized by IAPMEI, promoted a debate on the valorization of national production factors and the best way to leverage them, with a focus on clusters. This conference was attended by representatives of the main national competitiveness clusters, business associations, public entities and academia. All were gathered for an open discussion, through which we tried to find an answer to the current questions of “What will be the way to strengthen the competitiveness of the Portuguese economy, generating added value?” and “What is the best path to encourage the rise of Portuguese companies to international value chains?”.
